MINOR RESTORATION PUT INTO "AS NEW" CONDITION!!! In 50 years of collecting antique guns this is the only 4 bore double that I have ever owned or even seen. Showing very little use it is in "as-new" condition with minor restoration by Jim Kelly of Darlington Gun Works. It comes in it's original oak & leather fitted trunk case with accessories and with original label marked: "E.M. REILLY 502 NEW OXFORD STREET LONDON Branch Establishment 2 Rue Scribe Paris" Also included are 4 brass and paper Winchester 4 gauge cartridges. 36 inch top quality Damascus barrels

From 1875 - 1882 Edward M. Reilly traded at 502 New Oxford Street, London next door to James Purdey. His shop was considered at the time to be on a par with Purdey's. Quite a bit of information on the company is included.

The gun was obtained at auction from the contents of an 1840's home in Syracuse New York that had been converted into a funeral home. The owner's wife was the secretary to the original president of I.B.M. and left the home and the proceeds of the auction plus @ $80,000,000 in cash and I.B.M. stock to the Catholic Diocese of Upstate New York.
